Shane McMahon used to appear on WWE television every week, and he was a proven ratings draw. He hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania, where he tore his quad during a brief match, and it’s not likely that fans will see him any time soon.
Fans have seen Shane McMahon pop up at a baseball game, and he’s been hitting the gym as well, keeping his upper-half toned up. That being said, he’s not taking any bumps in the ring.
PW Insider’s Mike Jonson was asked during a Q&A about whether Shane McMahon’s WWE return is coming soon. His response gave reason to believe that we won’t see Shane McMahon, and that is 100% the case before the merger with UFC completes.
Nothing that I have heard. I don’t see it happening anytime soon, certainly not before Endeavor acquires WWE.
Shane McMahon earned a massive payday, but he was still injured at WrestleMania. That was a bad way to end his return at the showcase of the immortals. McMahon tore his quad at the show of shows, and he couldn’t finish his little match against The Miz. That is why Snoop Dogg had to step in, and he gave his own version of the People’s Elbow.
We will have to see when he appears next, but odds are it will be a while until Shane-O Mac’s “Money’ music rings out during a WWE event again. There’s always next year’s WrestleMania, and that is only if he’s willing to risk another random injury.
