Sheamus Jokes About Calling The Cops After Edge Clears The Air About WWE Contract

WWE Hall of Famer Edge has seen the pro wrestling industry change in many ways throughout his career. Being such a big name, it is no surprise that many people take his opinion seriously. That said, it appears Sheamus made an amusing joke about Edge after the latter cleared the air about his WWE contract.

Edge previously stated that his WWE contract will be over after last week’s Smackdown ahead of his match with Sheamus. He even revealed when his contract will be expiring.

A report by Wade Keller stated that WWE turned down Edge’s offer to re-sign. Edge caught wind of this report and cleared the air about it as he denied having any problems with WWE.

Sheamus took to Twitter and commented on Edge’s video, where he joked that he gave Edge a shillelagh last week on Smackdown and hasn’t seen it since. Sheamus joked that he should call small claims or The Mounties.

Ringside News exclusively reported that there is belief within WWE that Edge is on his way to AEW. It remains to be seen whether the Rated R Superstar will make his way to AEW, as that would certainly send shockwaves across the pro wrestling world.
