WWE and UFC are merging and starting a new TKO Holdings Group under Endeavor. That change might be seen on television eventually, but it is really shaking things up on the corporate front.

The new company’s Board of Directors will not include Triple H. This was a bit of a surprise, since he is Chief Creative Officer, and it seems that the company is happy about how he is performing.

During the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash was asked about his old friend Triple H not being on the Board of Directors anymore. Nash stated that Triple H is trying as hard as he can to close this merger as soon as possible.

“Whenever we talk, I just know that he wants the merger to be done. That’s the thing, like ‘let’s get this f*cking thing over with.’ It’s not like he’s upset at anything or sick of anything, like he’s going ‘they do this, this, and this,’ but it’s never an ultimatum. He does his job.”

“I just sent him a text after SummerSlam to say that I enjoyed SummerSlam. He said, ‘thanks.'”

Kevin Nash then revealed that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s daughter is about to graduate. Stephanie McMahon also stepped away from the business as well, and they’ve been going “up to the lake” to get away more. All in all, it seems that Triple H is okay with not being on the new Board of Directors, as long as he can keep doing his job.

We will have to see what happens in this situation, because business deals can be unpredictable. Only time will tell if WWE and UFC both benefit from the new TKO Holdings Group, but they will continue operating as two separate companies.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, the “sense of doom” within WWE over potential firings due to the merger is not widespread. That being said, we will have to wait to see how things pan out when the merger is completed.
