WWE released several Superstars and members of staff since April 2020. Since then fans had been dreading the possibility of more releases in the company. This includes Tyler Breeze, who was released from the company back in June of 2021. He was also in a tag team with Fandango for a while and it appears Breeze was initially against teaming up with Fandango.

After being called up to the main roster, WWE had Tyler Breeze and Fandango team up together, as they were known as Breezango. The two would go on to produce the highly memorable Fashion Files skits, despite Vince McMahon not being a fan of those skits.

While speaking on the Agents of Wrestling podcast, Tyler Breeze recalled WWE teaming him up with Fandango. Breeze admitted that he didn’t initially feel the need to have a tag team partner.

“I was very much in the groove of my single stuff, and I didn’t want to be in a tag team. I didn’t want a – you know, built this Tyler Breeze character for a reason and how it was, and I really didn’t need someone to talk for me or be in a tag team. So I was very much against it, and I believe he was too.”

Breezango would become one-time NXT Tag Team Champions, winning the titles from Imperium in August 2020. They held the titles for 56 before dropping it to  Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan that year in October. Regardless, fans will always fondly remember Breezango in WWE and that’s all that matters.
