Santana Returns During AEW Dynamite This Week

AEW has a few wrestlers on their injured list, but that time waiting for Santana finally ended this week during AEW Dynamite. This was a bit unexpected, but there were also a lot of signs that his return was coming.

Santana and Ortiz haven’t been seen together since Blood & Guts last year. A long road to recovery started for Santana at that event, but the long hiatus ended this week, just in time for AEW All In London.

The two were seemingly on the same page when they came out in the melee that erupted after Jon Moxley and Fenix’s barnburner of a match. As Santana and Ortiz left together, it appeared that they were a united front once again.

There were reportedly issues between Santana and Ortiz prior to Santana’s injury. Now that he is back to action, we will have to see what AEW does next. This cast some doubt that they were reunite, but that was the plan after all.
