The world lost Terry Funk today, and the entire pro wrestling world was saddened by this news. There was an outpouring of memories and tributes throughout the pro wrestling world. Now, it appears that Ric Flair is calling for even more attention.

Terry Funk meant a lot to so many people, but ESPN didn’t honor the Funkster like Ric Flair would prefer. Instead, ESPN focused on other sports like football.

Ric Flair tweeted out to let the sporting network know that he is not happy at all about their programming today. On a day when the world lost a legend like Terry Funk, Ric Flair wanted to see Funk tributes on ESPN instead of anything else.

Damn It @espn! Terry Funk Died And As Usual You’re Talking About Another Football Player Being Arrested Yesterday! SHOCKER! Shame On You!

Terry Funk was 79-years-old at the time of his passing. Sadly, he did not see 80, but he also never lost his personality until the end. Many stories about Terry Funk could be told today, but sadly, ESPN is not the place to turn for that conversation.

Ric Flair will have to find another place to honor Terry Funk. Odds are, AEW Dynamite will include some sort of tribute tonight. WWE will also very likely include a stellar video package on Friday’s episode of SmackDown as well.
