WWE Hall of Famer Edge has been an integral part of the pro wrestling industry for well over two decades and has won numerous titles during his time in WWE. He also competed in what might have been his last match during Smackdown last week and rumors suggest he might go to AEW. Now it appears Booker T also doesn’t rule out Edge debuting in AEW.

Edge previously stated that his WWE contract will be over after last week’s Smackdown ahead of his match with Sheamus. He even revealed when his contract will be expiring.

Ringside News exclusively reported that there is an internal belief within WWE that Edge is going to AEW. After all, he has not signed a new contract with WWE. This has led to a lot of discussion among fans.

While speaking to Rick Ucchino of Cageside Seats, Renee Paquette talked about the possibility of Edge coming to AEW. Paquette made it clear she is excited at the possibility.

It gives me goosebumps. Like, the idea of that happening. Not only just as a Canadian and as a kid growing up, watching Edge in WWE and watching his career, but to get to know him as a human. To get to know him and his wife, Beth Phoenix. They’re just such incredible, like top-notch, world-class human beings. To be able to watch what he was able to do and wrap up his last match in Toronto. What a storybook ending for him.

Those in AEW also believe that Edge is signing with Tony Khan. It remains to be seen whether the Rated R Superstar will make his way to AEW, as that would certainly send shockwaves across the pro wrestling world.
