Dakota Kai Shares Heartbreaking News of Her Beloved Grandmother’s Passing

Dakota Kai was released back in May 2022 but came back during SummerSlam that year, where she returned as part of Damage CTRL alongside Bayley and Iyo Sky. While she won championship gold afterwards, things just didn’t go well for Kai. Unfortunately, it appears Kai announced the unfortunate passing of her beloved grandmother.

Dakota Kai has history of injuries. She is out of action with another ACL injury, one that required surgery to repair and it will still be quite a while until she is able to make her in-ring return.

While she has her in-ring return to look forward to, not everyone is going well in her life right now. Dakota Kai took to her Instagram and officially announced that her beloved grandmother has passed away. She uploaded several photos of herself along with her grandmother.
