AEW presented a very special match on Dynamite last week for Fight For The Fallen. This was a very interesting night, and it also included a Texas Chainsaw Massacre match between Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett. That match also included Jarrett winning a title belt at the end, but don’t bet on seeing much of that title again.

That Texas Chainsaw Massacre match even included an AEW star under a Leatherface mask. It was chaotic, and full of gimmicks, including a new title belt in AEW lore.

PW Insider reported to say that AEW has no plans to bring back that title belt that they introduced at the end of that Texas Chainsaw Massacre match. This might disappoint some fans, but it also might be for the best.

There are no current plans for the Texas Chainmatch Massacre title belt to be defended regularly, PWInsider.com has been told.

That Texas Chainsaw Massacre match was not well received with fans. Jim Cornette also made a point to speak out about this match, and he dragged it in a big way as an embarrassment.

We will have to see if AEW ever runs another Texas Chainsaw Massacre match. At this point, it doesn’t appear that the title belt will be coming back. That being said, AEW still pulled in six figures from that match, and the money went to a good cause.
