The WWE is full of talented Superstars who have competed in numerous companies over the years before calling WWE their home. That said, a lot of talent have also left the company for various reasons. This includes Matt Cardona, who was released by WWE and has since become a major name in the independent circuit. Now it appears Cardona joked about coming back home after driving near WWE Headquarters.

In case you need a reminder, Matt Cardona was known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE. He didn’t break the glass ceiling there and was unable to reach his potential as a star there. He was eventually released by WWE in 2020 and went on to become the Indy God in the independent circuit.

Ringside News also exclusively reported that Matt Cardona is on WWE’s radar for a return. That said, there is no guarantee he will end up signing with Vince McMahon’s company anytime soon.

The former WWE Superstar took to Twitter and uploaded a video, where he could be seen driving by WWE Headquarters. In the video, Matt Cardona joked that he’s coming home, as he’s done being disrespected by GCW.

Matt Cardona also believes he will return to WWE eventually. It remains to be seen whether fans will finally get to see Matt Cardona finally make his return to WWE one day.
