Ric Flair is known for a lot of things, but he is still a human being in the end and is prone to making mistakes. It appears that even Charlotte Flair stated that she felt disconnected from Ric Flair.
Charlotte Flair’s booking in WWE is always a controversial topic as she is always involved in the main event scene no matter what and constantly wins titles, which fans feel other talent deserve more than ever.
While speaking on the Michael Kay Show, Charlotte talked about working with her father early in her career and said that she saw him pay more attention to other talent, adding that she felt disconnected from Ric Flair.
“You know what’s weird, he would sit and talk to the guys and they would ask him questions because he would sit by the monitor at live events. And I could see him giving great advice, but I never went to him and sat at the monitor to say ‘hey, what could I do better.’ I didn’t feel that connection with him. That he could look at me in a non-biased way and tell me what to do.”
“I respected and appreciated how much the guys took his advice, but if I went up to him and said “hey, what should I do in this match, I didn’t feel the same connection or the same amount of effort to help me.”
Charlotte Flair admitted that trying to break her father’s world title record wasn’t her goal. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Charlotte Flair.
