Chad Gable Hands GUNTHER His First Loss On WWE Main Roster

WWE brought a big show for RAW this week, one that included Kevin Owens’ big return during the opening segment of RAW, but that wasn’t the only notable moment.

GUNTHER’S run in WWE has been nothing less than amazing, as he carried the IC Title for such a long time, he is ready to break Honky Tonk Man’s record. This week on WWE RAW, he faced one more challenger before breaking that record.

Chad Gable faced off against GUNTHER as an ultimate underdog. After a thrilling match, they ended up at ringside. Gable was able to recover sooner than GUNTHER, and he made it back in the ring before the referee could count to 10. That was not the case for GUNTHER.

The referee called for the bell, and Chad Gable celebrated a huge win via count-out. Since the win was only via count-out, there was no IC Title change on RAW this week. That didn’t stop Gable from celebrating, as GUNTHER was furious.

Michael Cole was quick to point out that this was GUNTHER’s first singles loss of any kind since he made his way to the WWE main roster. This was said as GUNTHER tore up his announce table.
