Popular YouTuber Training for Wrestling Match Against Adam Cole

Adam Cole has been a staple of AEW television since his debut during All Out 2021 and he is clearly aware of how much the company has grown over the years. Now it appears that a popular YouTuber is training to face off against Adam Cole in a wrestling match.

Adam Cole is also a massive gamer and he is close friends with Xavier Woods and Claudio Castagnoli, as part of the UpUpDownDown gaming channel.

YouTube DenkOps, real name Chris Denker, is a very popular YouTuber who started creating playthrough videos of WWE 2K15’s MyCareer mode featuring a recreation of himself under the ring name ‘Chris Danger’.

He currently has over 1.5 million subscribers and has collaborated with the likes of Xavier Woods, Claudio Castagonoli and has even made a guest appearance on UpUpDownDown. He is now set to make his pro wrestling debut following his stint as a manager for nearly two years.

While speaking on Deadlock Pro Wrestling Spark on August 18th, Denker talked about his upcoming in-ring debut and then dropped a major hint as to who his opponent will be – who turned out to be Adam Cole.

“This is not an ‘if’ anymore, this is not a maybe, this is not a question, this is a definite. When you and I step in this ring together, I swear to you on everything I love, I’m gonna give you everything I have. I’ve been working night and day towards this, I’ve wanted this since I was a kid.

This is all I’ve ever wanted and the fact that you are going to be standing across this ring from me means more to me than you ever know. So I don’t want to take up a lot of your time, I’ll just leave you with this. When it happens, when we step in this ring, I swear to God, we are going to set the world on fire…

Bay Bay.”

Denker went on to perform Cole’s signature pose on the apron as well. Regardless, we will have to wait and see when Adam Cole will be squaring off against Denker in a singles match.
