Following his arrest by the Orlando Police Department, Cash Wheeler faces a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. Official records from the county highlight his booking in Circuit Court, adding a layer of complexity to his scheduled participation in the upcoming event.
During Cash Wheeler’s arraignment for aggravated assault with a firearm, his attorney revealed that this whole thing was the result of a road rage incident.
”Mr. Wheeler appears to have no other criminal history. It does appear to be a road rage type incident. He allegedly flashed a handgun at the alleged victim. But given that he has no prior history and does not know the victim, the conditions that defense has laid out, so he has no objection to, thank you.”
We will keep a very close eye on this ongoing story. There could be a lot more to unpack by the time everything is said and done. AEW might also have to alter their plans in a huge way.
Only time will tell how this situation turns out. Cash Wheeler could face time behind bars for this, and nobody wants that result. Hopefully, Wheeler can rid himself of this legal situation and get back on track as 1/2 of one of the world’s greatest tag teams.
