Dark Side of the Ring brought a lot of stories to viewers, and fans picked many Superstars apart for what they revealed from the past. Bruce Prichard was also seen in a few episodes as a talking head, re-telling stories from the past, but that will never happen again.

During the 400th episode of the Something To Wrestle With podcast, WWE’s Bruce Prichard engaged with fan inquiries and shared insights. Among the topics discussed was Prichard’s involvement with Dark Side of the Ring.

Having previously participated in the show, Bruce Prichard revealed that he has decided not to continue collaborating with Vice’s Dark Side of the Ring in the future. The reasons behind his choice were elaborated on during the podcast.

“I can’t watch those things. I think that they just dwell on negativity and lies and bullsh*t and hearsay, and they exploit that and so much of it is based on, you know, the rumor and innuendo and just complete 100% bullsh*t.”

“The producers do their homework to the extent that satisfies them. When you dispute their homework and give them facts that don’t support their story and their narrative, they choose to ignore it and that is why I have not done anything since the first ones that I did for the first season and I will never do anything with them again because I do not like the way that they present stories because they’re only looking for negativity to exploit, and in my old age, I learn there’s a lot more than negativity. Why not exploit some positive messages and some good sh*t? You know what it should be called? The Lies of the Ring because a lot of what they present as fact are 100% bullsh*t unsubstantiated lies, and when given facts, they choose to ignore them.”

Dark Side of the Ring’s producers have not publicly spoken about Bruce Prichard’s remarks. It seems that he is pretty firm in his stance that he will not be spending any time in the interview chair with Dark Side of the Ring again.

Dark Side of the Ring’s future might be up in the air, considering the fact that Vice just got bought out after filing for bankruptcy. Only time will tell if fans even get another season of Dark Side of the Ring at this point.
