AEW All In London is going down on August 27th, and it will be quite a show in Wembley Stadium. That being said, Tony Khan had to make a big alteration for that event when Bryan Danielson was injured.

Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada threw down in the main event of Forbidden Door. Although Danielson won that match via submission, be actually fractured his arm in the process.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Bryan Danielson was actually set to take on Kenny Omega at All In London. That match, obviously, won’t happen now, but it was the plan if Danielson didn’t suffer that Forbidden Door injury.

The story that had Bryan Danielson not been injured his most likely match at Wembley Stadium would have been a singles match with Kenny Omega has been pretty much confirmed. It was never a sure thing, but it was the working idea before the injury.

It’s a shame that Bryan Danielson will have to miss All In London, because it will be an incredible show. Perhaps he will still make the flight to the UK, but that doesn’t mean he will be cleared in time to mix it up in Wembley Stadium.

Hopefully, AEW can figure out a proper stage for Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson to wrestle again. Wembley Stadium would have been a great location, but that doesn’t appear to be a possibility this time.
