AEW might have to change up their booking for All In London in a big way. 1/4 of the AEW World Tag Team Title match was arrested on a serious charge. Now, the company he works for has responded.
Cash Wheeler was taken into custody by the Orlando Police Department and subsequently charged with a single count of aggravated assault with a firearm. County records indicate that he was booked in Circuit Court.
PW Insider reached out to AEW for their statement on Cash Wheeler’s arrest. They were told that the company is “closely monitoring” the situation.
“AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. He is fully cooperating with local authorities.”
As of this writing, we have zero details about what actually went down. The current charge at play is aggravated assault with a firearm, so it could fetch a stiff fine, especially in Florida, where the arrest took place.
As we noted in a corresponding article, Florida’s law categorizes aggravated assault as a third-degree felony that can result in up to five years imprisonment, a $5,000 fine, and/or probation. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more information on this ongoing story.
