Johnny Knoxville appeared on WWE television back in January last year and immediately got into a feud with Sami Zayn. It culminated in a match at WrestleMania 38, which was well-received by fans. That being said, it appears Sami Zayn believes his feud with Knoxville isn’t over yet.
Sami Zayn squared off against Johnny Knoxville in a match at WrestleMania 38 Night 2. The 15-minute match turned out to be better than expected for many as well. Johnny Knoxville also defeated Sami Zayn by bringing Jackass to WrestleMania 38.
While speaking on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast, Sami Zayn talked about his relationship with Johnny Knoxville. Zayn made it clear he isn’t sure if they will bury the hatchet, adding that he believes his feud with Knoxville isn’t over yet.
“I don’t know if we’ll ever bury the hatchet. We bumped into each other at WrestleMania 39 actually, and it just doesn’t feel right, I don’t know. I feel like it’s not over.
I feel like, even though, you know, I’ve obviously turned the page and I’ve gone into a new chapter in my career here, and as you said, I’ve reached even higher highs than before, I still feel like this thing with Johnny Knoxville is not quite over. I feel like there’s somewhere to go with that.”
Knoxville also destroyed a Sami Zayn figure with a blender in the past. Regardless, his feelings towards Sami Zayn are unlikely to ever change, but a match between the two could take place in the future.
