The Second City Saint essentially buried Adam Page on live television last year. CM Punk’s promo on Adam Page was not part of the plans and was shoot. In fact, Punk even got heat on himself due to the promo. Now it appears CM Punk apologized to Adam Page after mocking him following AEW Collision last week.

This all stemmed from the promo Adam Page cut on Punk before their Double Or Nothing encounter last year. During a recent interview with ESPN, CM Punk claimed that Adam Page chipped his tooth during their match and a lot of other things.

After last week’s episode of AEW Collision went off the air, CM Punk decided to take multiple shots at Adam Page and mocked him in a promo. Despite this, AEW has no plans for a Punk vs Page feud in the future.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that CM Punk texted Adam Page after the promo, apologizing to Page for mocking him in the promo.

“What I can say is he did in fact send a text message to Hangman Page apologizing for the promo on Saturday. That is from both sides, that did happen, he did apologize to him via text message.”

AEW talent are also in an awkward position when it comes to speaking out against CM Punk following reports of more backstage drama. Regardless, we’ll have to see whether things get worse for AEW, just as we approach All In.
