Shinsuke Nakamura turned heel last week on RAW to conclude the aftermath following SummerSlam. That was a big surprise, and he explained himself this week on RAW.

Shinsuke Nakamura was asked by Michael Cole why he turned on Seth Rollins last week on Raw. After responding in Japanese, Nakamura said, “I want the World Title!”

When Michael Cole asked him, “did you really need to kick him in the head?” Shinsuke Nakamura replied in Japanese again. Then, just as Nakamura was about to speak in English, Seth Rollins came out to the ring.

Seth Rollins told Michael Cole that he will take it from there, and he welcomed fans to Monday Night Rollins, before they broke out in his song. This was followed by Seth Rollins accepting Shinsuke Nakamura’s challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE Payback is set to go down on September 2nd at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. We will have to see how that match pans out, but this should be a good match between two former NXT Champions, wherever the match goes down.
