Brian Cage honed his skills in various promotions before joining AEW. The Machine is a highly skilled in-ring performer, particularly for someone of his size. He was a staple of AEW television before making his way to Tony Khan’s ROH. Now it appears Cage missed AAA Triplemania XXXI due to hospitalization.

Brian Cage would then be gone from AEW television for a very long time until reappearing during a Ring of Honor pay-per-view last year. Brian Cage’s contract status was a very interesting point to consider for a while.

Thankfully, Cage would end up signing a long-term contract with AEW and ROH. Brian Cage took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself at the ER, revealing that he was supposed to make it at AAA Triplemania XXXI and compete for a title. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen as he was rushed to the ER, as he showed off the needles in his arm.

For those who have asked or hoped to see me at #TriplemaniaXXXI last night, here’s why I wasn’t there. I’m gonna be just fine. Only sidelined very briefly, I’ll be gtg next week!

Brian Cage further noted that he will be fully healthy by next week, so fans have no reason to be worried he will be out of action for a long time. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for The Machine.

What’s your view on what Brian Cage said? Do you think he would have won a title at Triplemania? Sound off in the comments!
