Sheamus Vows To Have Five Star Match With Edge On Next Week’s WWE SmackDown

Sheamus has achieved a great deal in WWE, having won numerous titles since his debut back in 2009. However, the tides have not turned in his favor as of late. That said, he will be squaring off against Edge on Smackdown next week and it appears Sheamus is determined to have a solid match with the Rated R Superstar.

During this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Edge made his return to WWE television and talked about the 25th-anniversary celebration episode for next week’s show.

The Rated R Superstar then picked Sheamus as his opponent, as they never faced each other in a match before. Edge would then explain how Sheamus inspired him to return to the ring and more.

Following the conclusion of Friday Night Smackdown, Sheamus took to Twitter and reacted to the announcement, making it clear that he is determined to have a solid match with the Rated R Superstar.

WWE Universe! Next week on #SmackDown WE are gonna send @EdgeRatedR into… another 25 years with a classic 5 ⭐️ BANGER!!!

We will have to wait and see how the match will turn out, as fans are undoubtedly excited to see the two veterans duke it out for the very first time.
