Nigel McGuinness was one of the most exciting superstars to make a name for themselves in Ring of Honor. The former WWE color commentator is also known to hang in the ring with the likes of Bryan Danielson, Jimmy Rave, and Chris Hero. Now it appears that he is taking measures for an in-ring return ahead of the AEW All In pay-per-view.

During Ring Of Honor’s Supercard Of Honor event this year, Nigel McGuinness returned as part of the commentary team. At the time, Tony Khan had stated that they brought him back only for the event. Of course, Khan would eventually sign him to the company for good.

McGuinness has provided commentary for both ROH and AEW Collision, but fans continue to wonder whether he will actually return to the squared circle. According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Nigel McMcGuinness has been taking measures to try to return to the ring.

It was noted that have not been told definitively that he has been cleared to make a comeback to the squared circle, but that McGuiness has been taking measures, which some believe are towards an in-ring return

Nigel McGuiness’ last match took place in December 2011, while his last televised bout was in September 2010 against Stevie Richards on TNA Xplosion. It is to be noted that Nigel McGuiness is still afraid he would kill himself in the ring if he actually wrestled again. Regardless, we’ll have to see whether McGuines will actually wrestle again in the end.
