Nia Jax was a formidable presence among female WWE Superstars, as she towered over her competition. She was released by WWE back in 2021 and largely stayed away from the company since then. Now it appears Jax wants a piece of Rhea Ripley.

The controversial star was not seen on WWE television since the September 20th 2021 edition of Monday Night RAW. Eventually, she was released by the company entirely, something that truly made fans happier than ever.

Of course, that all changed after Nia Jax returned during the Women’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year. Jax was also happy that people actually remembered her during the match.

While speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge, Nia Jax talked about Rhea Ripley’s current run in WWE so far. Jax stated that she believes Rhea Ripley needs to get knocked down a couple pegs.

“Rhea’s doing a great job. She’s kind of this rise. She might need to be knocked down a couple pegs. I think she’s incredible. She’s so talented. I mean, I saw her when she first came up on the main roster. I even saw her in NXT. She’s got such a long list of talents she can do. I really enjoy watching her, especially standing up to the guys.

I’ve had a match with Rhea once before, and she busted my eye open, so maybe I have to get a little payback. I don’t know, I think we’d have a good dogfight in there.”

Nia Jax is already training for an in-ring return. Nia Jax left the door open for a WWE return in the future, so it will not be a huge surprise if she returns to WWE and squares off against Rhea Ripley.
