WWE has been undergoing a wide variety of changes ever since Triple H took over as head of Creative last year. The company is always looking to shake things up whenever possible. Now it appears WWE has made yet another another commentary change.

Wade Barrett had a memorable first run in WWE which saw him win the first season of NXT, become the leader of The Nexus and have championship runs. Barrett returned to WWE in 2020 and has been playing a color commentator in the company since.

The company recently made numerous changes to WWE’s commentary team as Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are part of Monday Night RAW’s commentary team, while Cole is also part of Smackdown.

According to a new report by PWInsider, WWE has also introduced a change to the WWE Main Event show’s commentary team. Wade Barrett will join Byron Saxton as the new commentator of the show.

Before this change, Kevin Patrick was on the team alongside Saxton. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how the new changes will be received by fans in the coming weeks.
