Nick Aldis Backstage At WWE SmackDown This Week

Nick Aldis let his Impact Wrestling contract expire, and he became a hot free agent. He is apparently going to WWE, but he won’t be in the ring.

Nick Aldis appeared backstage on RAW this week as a producer, so he wasn’t on camera. He is learning the ropes for this new role behind the scenes. It appears that he is working SmackDown this week on top of that.

PW Insider reports that Nick Aldis was spotted backstage at SmackDown. He is in Calgary, and will continue his tryout.

It appears that Nick Aldis is still trying out as a producer in WWE, so this isn’t a full-time job yet. That being said, he is certainly being paid for his time to try things out as he makes a few dates on the road with WWE.

We will keep our eyes peeled for more on this story, and so many more, here at Ringside News. Although Nick Aldis might not be in the ring, he is still going to be able to influence WWE’s product from a much different role.
