It’s been more than seven years since the WWE Universe heard about the release of Brad Maddox. The former general manager of RAW was largely hated during his time in WWE. Now it appears Vince McMahon refused to let Maddox explain himself before firing him.
Brad Maddox was a fixture in WWE from 2008 to 2015, gaining recognition for his time as a WWE official and as the RAW General Manager. Throughout his tenure, he found himself in confrontations with The Authority and Kane.
He is also infamous for being part of Saraya’s sex tape along with Xavier Woods. He was eventually fired by WWE for insulting the crowd during a dark match in Indianapolis back in 2015, where he called the audience ‘cocky p*****.’
While speaking on Wrestling with Rip Rogers, Brad Maddox talked about his firing from WWE. Maddox revealed that Vince Mcmahon refused to let Maddox explain himself before firing him.
“I think Carrano came to see me and said that Vince had said to get my s*** and get out. I never talked to Vince. I asked if I could go talk to Vince and maybe explain myself or something and Vince didn’t wanna see me. I just left. I never talked to Vince again.”
Brad Maddox was also featured on a marriage coaching website last year. It is unlikely Maddox will be returning to WWE anytime soon and many fans believe that might be the best thing for everyone.
