LA Knight is riding quite wave in WWE right now, but he’s been grinding for years. He also had many brushes with greatness along the way, and an old video has resurfaced to remind everyone about one amazing thing LA Knight has to his credit.

Before his passing in 2013, William Moody, known as Paul Bearer to WWE fans, and Percy Pringle for many fans before and after that run, had one more client to manage. The WWE Hall of Famer managed Shaun Ricker on the Championship Wrestling From Hollywood television program. Of course, fans know Ricker by a much different name now, yeah.

Shaun Ricker eventually changed his name to Eli Drake, where he had a nice run in Impact Wrestling. Then he finally made his way to WWE, where LA Knight eventually became a bona fide Superstar on the main roster following a brief period in NXT.

Footage of Paul Bearer’s final television appearance has started to make the rounds once again, because he led LA Knight to the ring. This is an amazing connection to pro wrestling history that LA Knight has, and everybody has to say it is an impressive notch on his belt.

You can check out the footage below where Paul Bearer led LA Knight to the ring. He certainly gave it his all that night. Sadly, it was the pro wrestling legend’s final appearance before his tragic passing on March 5th, 2013. He died due to a heart attack at the age of 58.

Paul Bearer never got to lead LA Knight to the ring in WWE, but you have to know he would have been incredibly proud to see where the former Max Dupri ended up. His name is going to be a big one in WWE, and he has an entire fan base rallying behind him.

Critics have compared LA Knight to The Rock and Stone Cold many times before. Now, they can add The Undertaker to that list.
