Dominik Mysterio Dominates Ratings On WWE NXT This Week

Dominik Mysterio entered into WWE with a big spotlight on him, and that’s an understatement. The son of the Greatest Mask of All Time is now lighting up WWE television in more ways than one.

Dominik Mysterio defended the NXT North American Title on this week’s show. Also, he was a part of RAW, and both segments dominated the night for Dirty Dom.

According to data from Wrestlenomics.com, the top-rated segments on this week’s NXT were both centered around Dominik Mysterio. During the 9 o’clock quarter-hour, there were 844,000 viewers, while the seven-minute post-match period of his bout with Dragon Lee attracted 870,000 viewers.

Dominik Mysterio was able to retain his NXT North American Title this week on the show. That was a big move for him, as Rey Mysterio was on hand for the match as well. Dragon Lee got quite a rub in the process.

We will have to see what WWE does next to capitalize on Dominik Mysterio’s growing success. Obviously, he has tapped into something special, as fans give him a terrible heel reception by booing him out of the building at every turn. This is exactly the response he needs at this stage in his career.
