Logan Paul became one of WWE’s biggest surprises as his athletic ability immediately made him worth talking about in the company. His matches against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and others further raised his stock to a level that he is well respected by fans and peers alike. Now it appears some believe Paul’s heel work is forced.

The Maverick has had solid matches with the likes of The Miz, Roman Reigns and most recently Ricochet. Logan Paul has continued to prove his naysayers wrong with his solid in-ring skills.

The Maverick prides himself on being a natural heel and even made it clear he thrives off the heel. While speaking on Wrestling with Freddie, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. claimed that Logan Paul is trying to force himself as a heel.

“I don’t think he’s as good as a heel when he’s trying to be a heel as he is when he’s trying to be himself and be a babyface and get over. He leaned into it too much. It feels a little bit forced. His stuff hasn’t been perfect. I think he should just be himself and if he wants to react to like, ‘Ah man, you guys don’t like me? That sucks.’ He can lean in that direction. What he’s doing is going the opposite way which is, ‘Hahaha, you don’t like me.’ That’s a little not pushy, just forced.”

Eric Bischoff also believes Logan Paul is better than most wrestlers on most rosters. Regardless, we will have to wait and see when The Maverick will make his return to WWE television.
