Gable Steveson showed up in NXT, as he helped Eddy Thorpe train for a RAW Underground match against Steveson’s own brother, Damon Kemp. Weeks later, he had a match against Baron Corbin at the Great American Bash, and that match ended with a double count-out. Now, fans are waiting for his next move.
Gable Steveson had a nice dark segment during WWE RAW in his home state. This was during the August 7th Raw event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Sadly, this didn’t air on television and it was just for the live fans.
NXT did not see Gable Steveson on this week’s show, leaving some fans to wonder what his next move is. After all, he’s had a giant spotlight on him for some time now.
Ringside News asked around about Gable Steveson’s situation. We were told by a tenured member of the WWE creative team that Steveson is an, “NXT talent for now, main roster eyes are always on him though.”
Gable Steveson has main roster main event Superstar written all over him. That being said, he is just getting started and has a lot of work to do, especially when it comes to his promos. Only time will tell what WWE for Gable Steveson in the meantime to make sure things click.
Gable Steveson might always try for another Olympic Gold medal again. After all, he has that option. We will just have to see what’s in his future, but WWE is certainly going to be a part of whatever he does from now on.
