Sonya Deville was on a roll as 1/2 of WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Champions. Sadly, that time on top of the tag team division did not last long, as she was taken out of action with an ACL injury. Now, she has a long wait ahead of her.

At this point, Sonya Deville will be “lucky” to make it back to the ring in six months. She obviously won’t wrestle again in 2023. This is not the news her fans wanted to see.

Sonya Deville’s momentum was halted in a big way when she experienced an ACL tear. Now, there is no way of knowing how long she will be out of the ring. That being said, she seems to be in good spirits, as she dropped a video message for fans after news of her injury broke.

Fans on Instagram were happy to see that Sonya Deville posted a little update. She was in a hospital bed, and her fiancé was right there by her side.
