Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley Are Furious After WWE NXT

Dominik Mysterio’s character growth is nothing short of remarkable, as he wasn’t taken seriously as a babyface. His fortune changed after he turned to the dark side and is now one of the biggest heels in Vince McMahon’s company. Now it appears he and Rhea Ripley are furious after NXT this week.

The Judgment Day is comprised of Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Together, they have been wreaking havoc in WWE. Rhea Ripley and Mysterio have seen the most growth during their time in the faction.

Dominik Mysterio retained his NXT North American Championship against Dragon Lee on this week’s NXT. After the match, Lyra Valkyria hit a Black Mass on Ripley and Lee hit his signature Thrust Kick on. Rey Mysterio then came out and posed with Valkyria and Lee as NXT ended.

While speaking in an interview after the show, Mysterio and Ripley clear that Lee and Valkyria had not seen the last of them.

“As for Lyra Valkyria, I came here and told everyone she was a badass,” Ripley said. “I believed in her, I gave her some advice, and what does she do? She disrespects me and my Latino Heat … You don’t want to make Mami mad. And that’s exactly what she has done.”

We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for the four competitors, as we head towards NXT Heatwave on August 22nd.
