Injuries can happen at any moment for WWE Superstars. Sadly, it seems that a few of them suffer injuries while they’re on top, thanks to all the wear and tear they place on their bodies as they strive their way to the top.

Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, and there were a lot of expectations for the team. Sadly, Deville has missed television in recent memory. Now, we know that she is injured.

TMZ reports that Sonya Deville is out of action with an ACL injury. It was reported that she injured herself on the July 28th episode of SmackDown.

Our sources say Deville tore her ACL during her tag team championship match against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair on July 28 in New Orleans on SmackDown … and will undergo a procedure on Tuesday to fix the issue.

It was also reported that WWE will address this situation with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on RAW this week. We will have to see what they decide to do.

Sean Sapp later tweeted out to confirm this injury. It is terrible timing, and now Chelsea Green will have to figure out what’s next. At this rate, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles might be a bit cursed at this point.
