Xavier Woods is a member of The New Day and so far, he has had a remarkable career in WWE. Woods has won tag team titles quite a few times and remains a highlight, both inside and outside the squared circle. He is also happy about his mental and physical reset during his WWE hiatus.

Xavier Woods has seen a ton of success as a tag team specialist, but his singles run remains barren. In fact, many fans still think Woods had a better singles run in TNA, where he had solid matches against the likes of AJ Styles and more.

The New Day member has not competed in a singles match since the May 15 episode of Monday Night RAW. While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Xavier Woods revealed that is happy about his mental and physical reset during his WWE hiatus.

Honestly, it’s been a good little reset, you know?” Woods said. “Next year will be 20 years in wrestling for me, so being able to take a couple of weeks and … mentally reset, and then kind of reset your body as well — it’s good for the mind.”

We will have to wait and see whether Xavier Woods will eventually make his dream come true and become a singles champion somewhere down the line. Till then, he will keep himself busy with other avenues and that’s all that matters to him.
