WWE’s SummerSlam event is in the rearview mirror now, and fans are all talking about different aspects of the biggest party of the summer. That being said, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler’s match, although it was a popular bathroom break match during the event in Ford Field, the match was also apparently an issue with WWE creative and the talent involved.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that there were some issues between WWE creative and Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. The idea of MMA Rules was apparently the source of debate.

There were issues between WWE creative and them as far as how it was gonna go, and you don’t have knock downs in an MMA fight and do 10 counts, or whatever, but it’s like, you have some people stuck in one mindset about combat and others who think a different way, but you know.

Shayna Baszler won her match after the referee called for the bell. We will have to see what happens next in this situation, but it wouldn’t be a huge shocker to see Ronda Rousey take a step toward the exit in WWE.

It was previously reported that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler had to rush to their SummerSlam match, because Rousey has a “hard out date” from WWE. It has not been confirmed that Rousey is 100% leaving WWE at that time.
