Vince McMahon Had Final Say On WWE Television Before His Surgery

Vince McMahon had spinal surgery, and he’s taking a leave of absence. That being said, he was certainly busy prior to that surgery. In fact, he was doing a lot more than Triple H let on.

Triple H tried his best to downplay Vince McMahon’s involvement in WWE’s creative process when he was asked about it during the SummerSlam media conference. That is not the case at all.

Sean Sapp confirmed behind Fightful’s paywall that Vince McMahon actually had the final say in WWE’s television prior to his medial leave.

Contrary to Triple H’s press conference quote, Vince McMahon was heavily involved in “final say” aspects of WWE creative ahead of his surgery. 

It should be noted that Ringside News was exclusively told by a tenured member of the creative team that very few staffers actually believe that McMahon’s medical leave will stick.

We will have to see how long Vince McMahon’s hiatus from WWE lasts. After all, he is a workaholic, and was known for his ridiculous work schedule before. That being said, his spinal surgery might take some time.
