Traveling can get expensive if you don’t plan ahead, and WWE Superstars know all about making big journeys. Their family members might not make very many trips to see them perform, but SummerSlam is a special occasion. Sadly, not all plans in WWE remain consistent.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that family members of Superstars in a couple scrapped SummerSlam matches were making plans to attend SummerSlam. It wasn’t noted if they followed-through with those plans, because they might have been locked into the commitment without a cancellation option.
The report also did not note which Superstars had family members planning on attending, but the two scrapped matches in question were Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez and Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus.
Though Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley weren’t announced for SummerSlam, there were several involved who had family and friends planning to attend before the changes.
We will have to see when Rhea Ripley will defend her Women’s World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Adam Pearce told Rodriguez that she will get a match when she is cleared to compete. Of course, Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus is going down at RAW in Winnipeg in a couple of weeks.
