Nick Aldis was NWA World Champion for a very long run, but it seems that the company did not fully compensate him. In fact, Billy Corgan’s pro wrestling promotion apparently still owes Aldis money.

Nick Aldis, who had been the top star and the face of the NWA promotion for several years, decided to part ways with the company in 2022 due to backstage issues. Now, he is back with Impact Wrestling, and it seems that he might be happier because they are going to pay him.

After his departure from NWA, Aldis made a triumphant return to IMPACT Wrestling at the Rebellion pay-per-view in April 2023. He spent a little over two months with the promotion before concluding his stint after Slammiversary.

During a recent episode of the podcast K100 with Konnan & Disco, Nick Aldis discussed his exit from NWA and shared his thoughts on Pat Kenney, the Director of Talent Relations at NWA. It seems Aldis’ time at the promotion has left some unresolved financial matters.

“I don’t wanna air dirty laundry but he showed his true colors with my exit from the NWA. I don’t wanna get into it too much but, they owe me money and it’s probably never gonna come and Pat kind of — I felt betrayed by Pat. I’ll just leave it at that.”

Those are some pretty big accusations, because nobody wants to work with a company who doesn’t pay their talent. As of this writing, Pat Kenney, or the NWA, have not spoken on this matter.
