Dakota Kai Is Still A Long Way From In-Ring Return After SummerSlam

Dakota Kai was going strong with Damage CTRL, but then she was taken out of action with an injury. After IYO Sky won the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, Dakota Kai was on hand to celebrate with her. Although she was able to take part in that special moment, that didn’t mean Dakota Kai is ready for action.

During the press conference following SummerSlam, Dakota Kai was asked if she is back after her return during SummerSlam. Although Dakota Kai was able to make it back for SummerSlam, that doesn’t mean she is ready to take bumps again right now.

I just had to be here for IYO Sky tonight. I’m still a ways a way from being in-ring cleared, but I had to be here tonight. It was a crazy accomplishment for her as representing Damage CTRL. 2024 is going to be crazy, I’m squatting heavy, alright?

Dakota Kai might not be ready for an in-ring return just yet. That didn’t stop her from making her way back to SummerSlam for IYO Sky’s big win. Hopefully, Dakota Kai will be able to make it back to the ring before IYO Sky drops her title.

Damage CTRL debuted at SummerSlam last year, and one year later, IYO Sky is now the champion. They certainly came full circle at the biggest party of the summer. It’s anyone’s guess where they will be this time next year?
