AJ Lee Says Goodbye To WOW Women Of Wrestling

AJ Lee surprised a lot of fans when she returned to the pro wrestling world as a member of the WOW Women of Wrestling show. She did not get in the ring, but the former Divas Champion was an executive producer on the show. That being said, her time is now at an end.

There were reported to have been issues between AJ Lee and Tessa Blanchard, and Tessa left the company. Now, it appears that AJ Lee’s time with WOW has come to an end as well, but she doesn’t seem to harbor any hard feelings.

AJ Lee logged onto Instagram, and she dropped a post to thank WOW Women of Wrestling. Her year-long contract is up, and she wanted to express her gratitude to a few people. She also said she will try to come back and visit.

As my season-long contract with @wowsuperheroes winds down, I wanna thank the ladies for welcoming me into their locker room, our hair & makeup talk sessions, and constantly inspiring me with their hard work, talent, & genuine camaraderie. I’ll try to come back and play sometime in the future! I hope all you fans keep watching next season to support these incredible athletes & stars of tomorrow.

We will have to see what is next for AJ Lee. She also has guest starring role on Starz Heels, a part that CM Punk probably helped her get. Now, it appears that her schedule is a bit more open.

Only time will tell if AJ Lee ever joins her husband in AEW. That would be a big get for Tony Khan to land someone like AJ Mendez, because she still has a huge base of fans who remember her time in WWE fondly.
