The Bloodline storyline has been going on for well over three years now and it has elevated every single WWE Superstar involved, especially the likes of Roman Reigns and The Usos. Now it appears Sheamus claimed that many WWE talent are begging to have the same time Roman Reigns does to tell his story.
Roman Reigns’ loss at Money In The Bank led to the trial of Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns teased making Jey Uso the head of the table last month, but that didn’t happen as he made it clear he will remain The Tribal Chief. Afterwards, Jey Uso challenged him to match at SummerSlam.
The Bloodline angle is clearly the main focus for WWE and other storylines simply haven’t been given as much emphasis. While speaking with Alex McCarthy of DailyMail, Sheamus claimed that many WWE talent are begging to have the same time Roman Reigns does to tell his story.
”Obviously there’s the luxury of getting all the storyline time and everything. I feel like he’s made the most of the opportunity he’s had, but I feel like there’s guys on the roster begging for that amount of time to tell their own stories and that’s one of the only things that’s going. The rest of the roster needs story time too. With MSG [Madison Square Garden] a couple of weeks ago, they went 20 minutes over. So me and Theory had two segs which ended up turning into three small segs on the floor, you know, so that’s tough as well to go out and do that. It’s definitely benefited him a lot and Heyman and the story they have to tell, all within that family and stuff, but as I said there’s plenty of other people on the roster that could do with story time as well. I’m not taking anything away from him, I’m just saying.”
Sheamus will be competing in the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam this week, but nothing else seems planned for him right now. We’ll have to wait and see if WWE will decide to give him a big push in the future.
