Jey Uso has been on a roll as part of The Bloodline storyline, which began almost three years ago. ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso is alive and well now as he is now at the forefront of WWE’s biggest storyline with Roman Reigns. Now it appears Jey Uso is determined to become the next Tribal Chief ahead of WWE SummerSlam.
Roman Reigns’ loss at Money In The Bank led to the trial of Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns teased making Jey Uso the head of the table earlier this month, but that didn’t happen as he made it clear he will remain The Tribal Chief. Afterwards, Jey Uso challenged him to match at SummerSlam.
The two have been going at it ever since their match was confirmed for SummerSlam. This week’s Smackdown saw Jey Uso defeat Solo Sikoa in a singles match. Following the match, Uso was asked by Cathy Kelley about how he was feeling. Jey Uso made it clear that he will become the next Tribal Chief.
“Pretty confused emotions right now Cathy, fighting my family every week in front of the whole world on national TV. I just put a whooping on my little brother Solo. Tomorrow SummerSlam in front of millions in Detroit city, I go to war with my cousin, the undisputed champion, the Tribal Chief of my family, Roman Reigns.
I’m going to bring my passion and my whole family tomorrow night against Roman Reigns. Bless everybody, bless Samoa, bless my family because you are looking at the new Tribal Chief Cathy.”
We will have to wait and see how Jey Uso will fare in his match against Roman Reigns at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. After all, fans are certainly excited about the match.
