Fans Leave For Bathroom In Droves During Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler SummerSlam Match

WWE brought a big show to Detroit for SummerSlam. The card consists of 8 matches, and 4 of them are branded as main events. That being said, not every match can capture everyone’s attention.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler threw down in an MMA rules match after the Slim Jim Battle Royal match. Their contest had a lot of history behind it, and WWE did the best they could to sell the storyline. In the end, Shayna Baszler choked Rousey out and won via technical submission.

After LA Knight’s big win in the Slim Jim Battle Royal, fans might have needed to stretch their legs a bit. Video from the crowd in Ford Field shows fans leaving in droves during the Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler match.

Fans were likely not leaving SummerSlam without an intention of coming back. They might have needed to smoke, hit the merchandise booth, or get a restroom break in during the show.

We’ll have to see how fans remember the SummerSlam event in retrospect, but the Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler didn’t seem like the biggest match on the card by a long shot. It seems like Rousey and Baszler gave it their all.
