Drew McIntyre is currently one of the top Superstars in WWE, and he clearly loves his profession. He won the WWE Champion on two different occasions and continues to be a beloved star. He had a few clashes with Roman Reigns and it appears McIntyre is done with Reigns for now.

The Scottish Warrior faced off against Roman Reigns at WWE Clash At The Castle for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. It was an all-out war as fans were at the edge of their seat throughout.

However, Drew McIntyre lost in the end after Solo Sikoa made his main roster debut and helped Reigns win the match. While speaking on Stay Busy with Armon Sadler, Drew McIntyre made it clear that he is done with Roman Reigns for now.

“I think my focus is RAW now that I’m on RAW. With the Roman [Reigns] thing like just when you think you know it must be at its end like another layer comes into it and I think I had my big opportunity there. There was maybe a way we could’ve done a finish involving [Austin] Theory, but maybe that would’ve messed up with The Bloodline story and so things happened the way that they happened.

“I think McIntyre’s period with Roman is done for now certainly. Unless something comes up now, storyline-wise, if it makes complete sense, I just can’t see it right now like my focus is on the Intercontinental Championship.”

Drew McIntyre will battle it out with Gunther at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to topple The Ring General this week at the event.
