Nick Aldis was one of the biggest names in the NWA over the past few years and saw a lot of success there. His love for the company knew no bounds, but it didn’t matter in the end. He eventually left the company and after a while, joined Impact Wrestling. He left Impact Wrestling recently as well. Now it appears WWE has been urged to sign Nick Aldis.

In April at Impact Rebellion, Nick Aldis returned to Impact Wrestling. He was previously known as Brutus Magnus as part of The British Invasion and even once held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

As previously reported, Nick Aldis parted ways with Impact Wrestling after the Slammiversary event, where he lost to Alex Shelly.

While speaking on The Wrestling Time Machine podcast hosted by Mac Davis, WWE Hall Of Famer Teddy Long made it clear that he is urging WWE to sign Nick Aldis as soon as possible.

“Well, I have always said this about Nick Aldis. Super nice guy. Love him, man. I heard rumors that WWE might be interested in him, but I don’t know for sure. But I hope someone over there talks to him and hope he gets a break to go to WWE. And I think the places he’s been in, NWA, they’ve just wasted him. I have worked with him; he certainly gives 100% in the ring. So I hope he gets the break.”

WWE is also interested in Nick Aldis after his Impact Wrestling departure. We will have to wait and see whether Nick Aldis will make his way to Vince McMahon’s company, as there is certainly a chance.
