Vince McMahon needed to take time off after spinal surgery, an operation that is said to be life-altering. At the same time, he is under investigation and a search warrant was issued for him. That being said, he’s going to be taking some time of of work for now.

WWE CEO Nick Khan made it clear that Vince McMahon is taking a medical leave of absence during the company’s 2nd quarter investor call this week. He also stated that the company is going to respect his privacy at this time.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed this situation with Vince McMahon. He also stated that there is no set time frame for Vince McMahon to make his return to the company yet either.

For now, Vince McMahon has stepped away from his duties as executive chairman for the time being. There’s no time frame that I’ve heard for his return, so there you go.

It was also noted that this is not like the last time he was investigated for steroids when he showed up in a neck brace. There is no indictment or trial yet, so if this case does go to actual court, odds are Vince McMahon will be healed up by then.

Vince McMahon will continue recovering from his spinal surgery, although it is not 100% clear exactly how long that will take. We can only hope for the best and that he will not have any physical issues when the time comes when he is required to take part in the next steps in this process with whatever investigation the government is doing on him.

What’s your take on Vince McMahon having spinal surgery right around the time he received that warrant? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you’re thinking!
