WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff is one of the most respected veterans in the pro wrestling business, as many believe his mind for the industry is invaluable. He also recently made some controversial remarks about The Bloodline storyline and now it appears Bischoff is doing a complete U-turn on his previous remarks.
The Bloodline storyline has been going on for well over three years now and it has elevated every single WWE Superstar involved, especially the likes of Roman Reigns and The Usos.
Roman Reigns’ loss at Money In The Bank led to the trial of Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns teased making Jey Uso the head of the table last month, but that didn’t happen as he made it clear he will remain The Tribal Chief. Afterwards, Jey Uso challenged him to match at SummerSlam.
While speaking on his 83 weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast, Eric Bischoff addressed his previous comments that The Bloodline storyline is losing steam. Bischoff did a complete U-turn as he claimed that he did not mean to suggest the storyline is losing steam in any way.
“I didn’t mean to suggest it’s [Bloodline storyline] losing steam. Is The Bloodline storyline at its apex now like it was leading into WrestleMania [39]? No! Because we’re not going into WrestleMania. You can’t keep a story at [a] fever pitch, especially not one that’s lasted this long (…) It’s going to ebb, and it’s going to flow just like any dramatic series, anything, a book. It’s going to have its rollercoaster effect when it comes to the emotions.”
We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book Roman Reigns and Jey Uso’s feud as we head towards SummerSlam this week. After all, fans are very excited about this matchup.
