Shayna Baszler Believes She’ll Get More Appreciation For Sending Ronda Rousey Away After WWE SummerSlam

Shayna Baszler has been associated with Ronda Rousey ever since she made her way to WWE and throughout it all, there have been a lot of twists and turns. Now it appears Baszler plans on sending Ronda Rousey away after SummerSlam.

During the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event, Shayna Baszler attacked Ronda Rousey in the final moments of the match, leading to Raquel and Morgan capitalising to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles back.

The two will now battle it out in a MMA Rules match at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. While speaking to the New York Post, Shayna Baszler stated that she feels fans will appreciate her more if she sends away Ronda Rousey after SummerSlam.

I think if I take care of Ronda and shut her up and maybe she does go away, I think for a second, people are gonna appreciate me a little bit. I don’t think I’m the type of person who’s ever gonna be a babyface in the way a Liv Morgan is or a Kairi Sane, these super sympathetic [figures]. But I think I can be people’s hero if they want it to be. Am I trying to do that? Not necessarily.

WWE was also forced to speed up plans for Ronda Rousey. We’ll have to wait and see whether Shayna Baszler will end up defeating Ronda Rousey, as it is likely Rousey will be done with WWE after SummerSlam.
