Cody Rhodes is certainly one of the most beloved stars in WWE right now. Cody’s stock continues to increase with every passing week, and that’s not going to change anytime soon. He was a major star in AEW, but that’s a thing of the past now. That said, Rhodes revealed his favorite thing in AEW after his departure.

Cody Rhodes suddenly departed AEW in February last year, leaving fans in shock. Before his exit, Rhodes was a standout performer in AEW, helping put over numerous talent with his solid performances in the ring.

While he is no longer working in AEW, that does not mean Cody Rhodes does not keep tabs on what goes on in his former company. This is especially because he still has many friends in AEW.

While speaking with Forbes, Rhodes was asked about his favorite thing AEW has done since he left. Rhodes stated that the success of rising star Ricky Starks and AEW World Champion MJF were his favorite things.

“Ricky Starks. I love what Ricky’s doing. He surprised me at the Royal Rumble and just showed up backstage. There’s grainy security footage that you can still find of Ricky backstage, but that’s just him. I love seeing guys like Ricky and [MJF] doing well in AEW. It’s great seeing all the talent I trained with and worked with at the Nightmare Factory growing and really making a name for themselves.”

The American Nightmare also believes he should not have let certain AEW wrestlers beat him. Regardless, he is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in WWE right now and no one can deny that.
